Health disclaimer

ChopCount is a general wellness app, not a medical device. Calories, macros and portions are estimates and can be wrong. Chop Coach suggestions, calorie targets and meal plans are not medical, nutritional or clinical advice, and must not be used to diagnose or treat any condition.

Talk to a doctor or registered dietitian before making big changes to how you eat — and especially if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, under 18, older, underweight, recovering from illness, or living with diabetes, kidney or heart disease, or an eating disorder. Never set a plan lower than the safe minimums the app enforces (1,200 kcal a day for women, 1,500 kcal a day for men) and never aim to lose more than 1 kg a week. If you feel faint, unwell or anxious about food, stop and get medical help.

Account security

If you got an email saying your password changed and it wasn't you, act now:

  1. On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password to set a new password you alone know.
  2. Sign in, then open Settings → Security and tap Sign out on all devices.
  3. Turn on two-step verification in the same place, and the app lock if you're on a phone.
  4. Still locked out? Email support@chopcount.app from the address on the account and we'll help.

Common questions

  • A meal was recognised wrongly. Tap the suggested alternative or adjust the portion sliders, then save. Editing also helps us improve.
  • Are my photos private? Yes. Location and camera tags are removed before upload, photos are stored privately, and only you can view them.
  • Can I get a copy of my data? Settings → Privacy → Download my data.
  • How do I delete everything? Settings → Account → Delete my account, or see /delete-account. Deletion is permanent.
  • Why did AI features pause? Daily fair-use limits. They reset the next day; you can still search foods or log by hand.
  • Reminders aren't arriving. Check notifications are allowed for ChopCount in your phone settings, then re-save the reminder times.
